Gauseva this Diwali — Feed a Cow, Light a Life

This Diwali, let the first lamp you light be the lamp of compassion. Through Gurukul Foundation’s Gauseva Campaign, we are dedicating this festive season to the quiet dignity of our gau mata. Our mission is simple and sacred: annadaan for all beings who depend on us, with a focused drive to feed cows with fresh fodder and nutritious grass. Your heartfelt contribution helps us procure green fodder, dry hay, mineral mix, clean water, and essential care so that every cow in our shelter receives regular, wholesome meals. When a cow eats in peace, a home breathes easier, and the spirit of Diwali truly shines.

Why Gauseva Matters

In our tradition, the cow is a symbol of selfless giving—offering nourishment without asking in return. Many abandoned, aging, or injured cows need dependable food every single day. Festivals bring abundance to some, but for these gentle beings, meals can still be uncertain. By supporting fodder and grass provision during Diwali, you convert festive joy into living relief. Your seva ensures steady feeding cycles, calm digestion, clean water access, and the strength cows need to heal and thrive.

What Your Support Provides

  • Green fodder (seasonal grass), hay, and silage for sustained nutrition.
  • Mineral–vitamin supplements to prevent deficiencies and weakness.
  • Clean drinking water, trough hygiene, and safe feeding areas.
  • Annadaan at scale—extra feeding rounds on festive days.
  • Transparent updates and basic reporting on feed distribution.

How Funds Are Used

Every rupee is directed toward feed procurement, delivery, and daily feeding operations. We prioritize locally available fodder to reduce transport costs and ensure freshness. Volunteers help with unloading, chopping, and distribution, while our team keeps simple daily logs of quantity and feeding times. This disciplined approach keeps costs lean and impact high.

Ways to Contribute

  • One-Day Fodder Support: Sponsor a day’s fresh grass for the herd.
  • Weekly Seva: Keep meals consistent through the festive week.
  • Monthly Annadaan: Sustain feeding cycles well beyond Diwali.
  • In-Kind Support: Contribute fodder bales, troughs, or water containers.

Volunteer & Spread the Light

Join us for early-morning feeding, basic shelter cleaning, or logistics support. Share this campaign with friends and family so that more hands can serve and more bowls can be filled. This is the spirit of Diwali—sharing warmth, removing darkness, and letting kindness glow in every corner.

Make Your Gauseva Today

Gurukul Foundation invites you to be a bearer of true festive light. Offer annadaan, give fodder and grass, and help a sacred life feel safe and full. Your contribution—big or small—sets a powerful example for the young, honors your elders, and blesses your home with the peace that comes from feeding the hungry. This Diwali, let your celebration nourish life.
