Gurukul Foundation — Weekly Feeding & Care Drive for Gau Mata
Shukarvar (Friday) is devoted to Maa Santoshi—a day that inspires faith, patience, and blessings through seva. On this auspicious day, Gurukul Foundation conducts Shukarvar Gau Seva to support and protect our gentle Gau Mata through regular feeding, basic care, and mindful seva. Many cows—especially abandoned, injured, weak, or shelter-rescued—face fodder scarcity, seasonal stress, and neglect. This weekly drive is our humble effort to transform श्रद्धा into सेवा, so that nourishment and comfort reach Gau Mata in a calm, respectful, and organised way.
Why Shukarvar Gau Seva Matters
In Sanatan tradition, Gau Mata is honored as a symbol of nurturing and sacred service. Yet on the ground, many cows struggle daily for fodder, clean water, and safety. A timely feed restores strength, reduces stress, and supports recovery—especially for weak, elderly, or injured cows. By offering Gau Seva on Shukarvar in the name of Maa Santoshi, we choose service that brings immediate relief: a full feeding, a calmer shelter environment, and a stronger chance for healing and protection.
What This Weekly Seva Includes
🐄 Green Fodder & Dry Fodder Support
Distribution of fodder based on on-ground feasibility—such as green grass, dry fodder, and essential feed support for shelter cows and vulnerable cows in identified areas.
💧 Clean Water & Basic Care Assistance
Wherever feasible, we support access to clean drinking water and basic on-ground care needs—helping reduce dehydration, weakness, and seasonal stress.
🚚 Procurement, Packing & Distribution Coordination
Feed procurement, packing material, transport support, and volunteer coordination—so the seva remains organised, timely, and waste-free, while ensuring fair distribution.
Our Approach: Seva With Respect
Gurukul Foundation believes seva should be calm, clean, and respectful. We identify locations where cows are most vulnerable—gaushalas, shelter areas, roadside zones, and rescue-support points—then distribute feed patiently and responsibly. We prioritise weak, injured, and abandoned cows wherever possible, and ensure hygienic handling during procurement and distribution.
This is a weekly commitment, so support creates continuity. When many hands contribute together, the impact becomes stronger—more fodder reaches Gau Mata, more care becomes possible, and more lives are protected. On Shukarvar, let your devotion become nourishment, protection, and healing for Gau Mata.
