Nandi Seva Drive by Gurukul Foundation: Chara (Fodder) & Treatment for Our Sacred Bulls
Nandi is not just a symbol—Nandi is a living responsibility. Across our towns and villages, many abandoned, injured, and weak bulls struggle silently for food, water, and medical care. Some are old and unable to walk properly, some carry untreated wounds, and some are simply hungry every single day. Gurukul Foundation has started this Nandi Seva campaign to provide two essentials that can change everything: chara (daily fodder) and timely treatment.
When we say “seva,” we mean consistent care—arranging nutritious green fodder, dry feed, and supplements, along with on-ground medical support for bulls who are suffering due to neglect, accidents, infections, or weakness. This campaign is built on one simple belief: no Nandi should sleep hungry, and no injury should be left untreated.
Why Chara Matters: Daily Nutrition is the First Medicine
For rescued and abandoned bulls, food shortage quickly becomes a health crisis. Lack of proper fodder leads to weakness, dehydration, low immunity, and slow recovery from injuries.
