Baishakhi is more than just a festival; it is a reminder of our deep-rooted connection to the earth and every living soul that inhabits it. At Gurukul Foundation, we believe that true celebration is incomplete without ensuring the well-being of the silent guardians of our ecosystem—the Vanar (Monkeys).
In our traditions, the Vanar are not merely animals; they are the living symbols of devotion, strength, and intelligence. However, as human habitats expand and natural food sources dwindle, these sacred beings are facing an unprecedented crisis. This Baishakhi, we are launching a mission to turn the tide of their suffering into a story of survival and health.

While we feast on the fruits of the harvest, many Vanar populations are struggling with severe malnutrition, skin diseases, and injuries resulting from human-wildlife conflict. The "Baishakhi Vanar" campaign is born out of a dire necessity to address three primary challenges:

Gurukul Foundation is not just providing food; we are building a Healing Sanctuary. Our veterinary experts have developed a comprehensive treatment plan tailored for the Vanar Sena:
