Nirjala Ekadashi Monkey Care

Nirjala Ekadashi is one of the most sacred days in Sanatan Dharma, observed with devotion, self-control, and deep faith. On this holy day, devotees remember Lord Vishnu and offer prayers with a pure heart. The word “Nirjala” means without water, and this vrat reminds us of sacrifice, compassion, and the importance of helping those who silently suffer. While humans observe this day with devotion, many helpless animals struggle under the heat, hunger, thirst, injuries, and lack of care. Among them, monkeys, often known as Vanar, face great difficulty in finding food, water, and medical support.

Gurukul Foundation brings this special campaign, “A Drop of Mercy for Thirsty Lives”, dedicated to Vanar Seva and treatment on the sacred occasion of Nirjala Ekadashi. This campaign is a humble effort to serve hungry, thirsty, injured, and neglected monkeys who wander in search of food and relief. Your support can become a source of comfort for these innocent beings who cannot express their pain in words but feel hunger, thirst, fear, and suffering just like us.

Why Vanar Seva on Nirjala Ekadashi?

Nirjala Ekadashi teaches us the value of kindness and selfless service. It is believed that acts of charity, feeding, and service done on this day bring spiritual merit and blessings. Serving Vanar is also considered meaningful because monkeys hold a special place in our culture and faith. They remind us of devotion, strength, and the divine connection with Lord Hanuman. By feeding and caring for Vanar on this auspicious day, we not only help living beings in need but also perform an act filled with devotion and humanity.

In many areas, monkeys face a shortage of natural food due to changing surroundings, rising temperatures, and urban expansion. Some suffer from wounds, infections, weakness, accidents, dehydration, and lack of timely care. Many young and old monkeys depend on small acts of kindness to survive. Through this campaign, Gurukul Foundation aims to provide food, water, fruits, medical treatment, and basic care to needy Vanar.

How Your Donation Helps

Your contribution can help arrange fresh fruits, grains, water, and nutritious food for monkeys who struggle daily for survival. It can also support medical care for injured and sick Vanar, including treatment for wounds, infections, weakness, and other health issues. A small donation from your side can become a big relief for those who are silently waiting for help.

Every act of service matters. A bunch of bananas, a bowl of water, a packet of food, or one medical treatment can save a life from pain. When you donate for Vanar Seva, you are not just giving food; you are giving hope, care, and protection. You are becoming a reason for comfort in the life of an innocent creature.

A Sacred Opportunity to Serve

Nirjala Ekadashi is a day to purify the heart through devotion and compassion. While many devotees perform fasting and prayers, supporting needy animals can make this day even more meaningful. True devotion is not limited to rituals; it is also reflected in kindness toward every living being. When we serve those who cannot ask for help, we follow the path of dharma, daya, and seva.

Gurukul Foundation invites you to come forward and support this noble campaign. Your donation will help provide food, water, and treatment to Vanar in need. Whether your contribution is small or big, it carries the power to bring relief to a suffering life. On this Nirjala Ekadashi, let your devotion become action and your kindness become someone’s support.

Be Their Hope This Nirjala Ekadashi

The heat of the day, the pain of hunger, and the helplessness of injury can be unbearable for animals living on streets, trees, temples, and open spaces. They wait for kindness, and your support can reach them as food, water, and healing. This is your chance to serve with faith and compassion.

Join Gurukul Foundation in this sacred Vanar Seva and treatment campaign. Donate on Nirjala Ekadashi and help feed, hydrate, and heal innocent monkeys. Let this holy day become a day of mercy, service, and blessings.
