Prof. Alok Prakash Mittal, Professor Emeritus of Instrumentation and Control Engineering (ICE) at Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), New Delhi, joined AICTE as Member Secretary on 22nd April 2016.

He graduated from Madan Mohan Malviya Engineering College, Gorakhpur (Electrical Engineering) in 1978, completed post graduation from the University of Roorkee (now IIT Roorkee) in 1980, and earned his Ph.D. from IIT Delhi in 1991. He has guided 14 Ph.D. students and published around 120 research papers in journals and conferences.

Prof. Mittal has served at REC Kurukshetra (now NIT) and REC Hamirpur, and later worked as Professor & Head at DCRUST Murthal. Since 2001, he has been associated with NSIT, Delhi in key leadership roles including Dean (IRD), Dean (Student Welfare), and has contributed extensively to academic accreditation and national/international conferences.

His teaching and research interests include Power Electronics, Electric Drives, FACTS, and Intelligent Instrumentation. He is a Senior Member IEEE (USA), Fellow of multiple professional bodies, and Life Member of ISTE and other societies.

Dr. Sanjay Kumar Sharma is an accomplished academic and institutional leader, currently serving as Dean, School of ICT at Gautam Buddh University, Greater Noida.

He is also the President of Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas (RSS affiliate) in Meerut Mandal and has previously served as Ex Registrar at YMCA University, Faridabad, contributing significantly to academic administration and organizational development.

Through his leadership roles, he supports initiatives that strengthen education, social upliftment, and community transformation aligned with the vision of Gurukul Foundation Trust.
