On this holy occasion, Gurukul Foundation is running a dedicated Gau Seva drive to support hungry, weak, and unwell cows with fresh fodder, clean water, and timely medical treatment. For many Gau Mata, daily survival is a challenge—street injuries, infections, dehydration, and lack of nutrition reduce their strength and health. Through this campaign, we aim to reach them with care that is practical, immediate, and life-supporting.
Our Promise on Mauni Amavasya: No cow should sleep hungry or remain untreated when help is possible. Your contribution becomes a direct service—fodder in the trough, medicine in the hand of the caretaker, and relief for a gentle life that cannot speak for itself.
Why This Campaign Matters
Cows often face multiple hardships at once: they may be abandoned, injured by vehicles, suffering from wounds, skin infections, fever, or weakness due to poor nutrition. Some cows stop eating because of pain, and many lack basic shelter during extreme weather. What We Will Do on Mauni Amavasya
1) Feed Gau Mata with Fresh, Nutritious Fodder
We will arrange green fodder, dry fodder, and balanced feed based on availability and need. Proper nutrition supports digestion, boosts immunity, and helps weak cows regain strength. For cows that cannot eat comfortably, we ensure softer feed and careful assistance so they receive nourishment without stress.
2) Provide Medical Support & Treatment
Our team coordinates essential care such as wound cleaning, antiseptic dressing, basic medicines, and support for infections or fever as recommended by caretakers and veterinary guidance. Your donation helps arrange first-aid supplies, bandages, ointments, supplements, and emergency care for injured cows—so pain reduces and recovery becomes possible.
3) Clean Water, Hygiene & Comfort Support
Hydration and hygiene are just as important as feeding. We support clean drinking water arrangements and basic cleanliness to prevent infections. Comfort measures—like keeping resting areas dry and safe—help cows heal faster and remain calm, especially those in pain or weakness.
