Healing Hooves: A Sacred Sawan Gau Seva Mission
A compassionate initiative by Gurukul Foundation to provide nourishment, medical treatment, protection and loving care to needy Gau Mata during the holy month of Sawan.
Serve Gau Mata in the Sacred Month of Sawan
Sawan is a deeply spiritual month filled with devotion, prayer and acts of kindness. Devotees worship Lord Shiva, observe fasts and seek divine blessings for peace, health and prosperity. During this sacred period, serving Gau Mata is considered a meaningful way to express compassion and devotion.
Gurukul Foundation has started the Sawan Gau Seva and Treatment Campaign to support cows that are hungry, weak, abandoned, injured or suffering from illness. Through this campaign, the foundation aims to provide green fodder, nutritious feed, clean drinking water, timely medical treatment, safe shelter and continuous care to Gau Mata in need.
Why Gau Mata Needs Your Support
Many cows are left helpless on roads after becoming old, weak or unproductive. They often struggle to find food and clean water. Some suffer from infections, wounds, accidents, seasonal illnesses and physical weakness. Without proper treatment and regular care, their condition may become more serious.
The rainy season can make life even more difficult for abandoned cows. Wet surroundings, dirty water, insects and changing weather conditions can increase the risk of disease. Immediate medical attention, nutritious food and a clean resting space can protect them from further suffering and help them recover safely.
