Shani Amavasya Maha-Seva – Sadhu Seva & Gau Seva Donation Campaign
On the sacred occasion of Shani Amavasya, Gurukul Foundation humbly presents a combined Maha-Seva dedicated to Sadhu Seva and Gau Seva. This spiritually powerful day is believed to reduce karmic burdens and bring the blessings of Shani Dev. Through this campaign, we aim to serve those who live a life of renunciation and compassion, along with Gau Mata, who is revered as the mother of all beings.
Sadhu Seva forms an essential part of this Maha-Seva. On Shani Amavasya, sadhus are offered food, clothing, and daily essentials with respect and devotion. Serving sadhus on this day is considered a sacred act that brings spiritual purification, humility, and divine grace. By supporting this seva, devotees participate in preserving India’s timeless spiritual traditions.
Alongside Sadhu Seva, this campaign also focuses on Gau Seva at our Gaushala. Many cows under our care are injured, abandoned, old, or rescued from the streets. On Shani Amavasya, Gau Seva is regarded as highly meritorious, as serving cows is believed to please all deities and neutralize past negative karmas.
Through your contribution, we provide nutritious fodder, clean water, safe shelter, and medical care to Gau Mata. Weak and injured cows receive special diets and regular veterinary treatment. The Gaushala remains a calm and sattvic space where cows can heal, rest, and live with dignity under constant care and compassion.
This Shani Amavasya Maha-Seva unites compassion for saints and care for cows into one sacred offering. Your donation supports food for sadhus, fodder and medicine for cows, and the continued upkeep of a clean, peaceful, and spiritual environment. Together, through Sadhu Seva and Gau Seva, we seek divine blessings, inner peace, and freedom from karmic suffering.
