Shree Khatu Shyam Winter Seva: Blanket Distribution & Food Drive for Old, Homeless & Poor People Winter Relief Seva • Distribution by Gurukul Foundation
During winter, harsh cold and cold waves become a serious struggle for elderly people, homeless families, daily-wage workers, and poor individuals living in open areas. Many do not have warm clothing, proper bedding, or safe shelter to survive freezing nights. In the sacred name of Shree Khatu Shyam Ji, this Winter Seva campaign is a humble effort to provide warmth and nourishment with dignity—so the old, homeless, and poor are not left to face the cold alone.
Project Purpose
The purpose of this Shree Khatu Shyam Winter Seva is to provide immediate winter relief through blanket distribution and a supportive food drive for old, homeless, and poor people in need. A warm blanket helps protect the body from freezing temperatures and reduces the risk of cold-related illness. A timely meal brings strength, comfort, and calm—especially for those who spend nights without shelter or regular food. This seva is a compassionate effort to support vulnerable lives with dignity and respect.
What the Relief Drive Includes
Implementation Approach & Dignity First
This Winter Seva campaign is conducted by Gurukul Foundation with a dignity-first approach. We identify distribution spots based on visible need and local inputs, ensuring support reaches old, homeless, and poor people living in open areas. Our volunteers serve calmly and respectfully, avoiding rush or humiliation. Blankets are handed with care, and food is served in a clean and decent way.
In the sacred name of Shree Khatu Shyam Ji, this Winter Seva invites everyone to be part of compassionate action. A blanket can protect someone through a freezing night. A warm meal can restore strength and comfort. This initiative stands for timely support—so vulnerable people can face winter with warmth, safety, and hope.
