“Vrindavan Flood Relief Drive” by Gurukul Foundation

Amidst the rising floodwaters that submerged many parts of Vrindavan Dham, Gurukul Foundation launched a large-scale “Flood Relief Drive” to bring urgent aid to stranded families, widowed mothers, and sadhus affected by the calamity.

Braving waist-deep water and difficult terrain, the entire Gurukul Foundation team reached the affected colonies and ashram areas by boats, ensuring that no family in distress was left unattended. The drive focused on both food security and health protection, providing critical relief materials to those who had lost access to essentials.

The team distributed hundreds of ration kits containing rice, flour, pulses, oil, and spices — along with medical kits that included first-aid items, basic medicines, water purifying tablets, and sanitary supplies. Volunteers also offered drinking water bottles, milk, fruits, and ready-to-eat items to ensure nourishment and safety.

The atmosphere of service and compassion resonated deeply across Vrindavan, as Gurukul Foundation volunteers chanted Hare Krishna while serving the flood-affected — reflecting the organization’s deep-rooted spiritual and humanitarian values.
